Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 1987 and specialized in Ophthalmology (1992). In the Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre, performs clinical and surgical activities in the Department of Surgery of the Anterior Segment and Refractive Surgery. He is also head of the Department of Cornea Conservation in the Eye Bank for Treatment of Blindness. He has received several awards and distinctions at national and international level, among which the “Award for best presentation of the session at the American Society of Refractive Surgery and Cataract (ASCRS) in San Francisco (USA), in the year 2003
